Welson . . .

My first electric guitar was a postorder guitar which cost me about 90 euro's. A friend played on this Welson. When he bought a Strat, he sold this guitar to a salesman. This is where I bought this Welson for 114,00 euro's.
Even though this was a cheap guitar, I played alot on it. I was 16 years old when I played in my first band, ofcourse I played on this Les Paul copy.
Welson is an Italian guitar brand, which no longer exists. You run into them rarely nowadays.

This Italian guitar was sold new back then for about 320,00 euro's. There where two makes, this one with the goldplated hardware and one with chrome colored hardware. This guitar is a copy of the Gibson Les Paul, black beauty, fretless wonder. For a guitar in this price range it plays wonderful. The sound is a bit on the thin side. Evenso, its a very well built guitar. I had it on the attic for ten years, and even after all this time it did not need to be tuned!

The body looks like its Mahogany. I changed the neck element myself. The fase switch and the single coil switch are also made by me, but they don't really add anything more to the base sound.

The head of this guitar, almost an exact copy of the Gibson.
